THE AEPHOTIKA LORE:

Birthed in 2020 by Katya Brierley-Jones, Aephotika is the materialisation of the artist’s daydreams. Specializing in wearable art, sculptural high end jewellery and gothic relics that seem imbued with magic, Katya draws inspiration from nature, sensuality and the youthful desire to step into our own surreal fantasies. 

Each piece is unique and made to embrace the imperfect beauty in natural life. Handcrafted and designed in Glasgow, all pieces are made with sustainability in mind, putting a focus on using recycled materials.

ETHOS:

Earth - Aephotika strives to constantly improve sustainability in our entire process. We are always researching ways to reduce our environmental impact and choose materials consciously.

Elements - Aephotika’s silver and stainless steel are of the highest hypoallergenic grade and all stones are sourced ethically from local businesses or salvaged from secondhand pieces. Almost all beads, trinkets and one off details have been saved from landfill. We also source all of our fabric and other materials from ethical, trusted suppliers to ensure our products are of the highest quality.

Heirlooms - All pieces are made to survive the effects of time. Whether passed down generationally or found by a new owner, they are made to last and to be cared for. Appropriate care will ensure your one of a kind piece is with you forever.
